Stuttgart
Stuttgart is the capital of Baden-Wuerttemberg, set on the river Neckar, and the sixth largest city in Germany with more than 632 thousand inhabitants. It is divided into 23 administrative districts and its history reaches back to Roman times. Stuttgart is a major industrial centre, home to giants such as Daimler, Porsche and Bosch. The temperate climate favours visits in spring and summer, when temperatures are pleasant and the parks and gardens are in bloom.
