Vnukovo is one of the three main airports operating in Moscow Area (together with Domodedovo airports and Sheremetyevo airport). In the past, planes flew from here to the main cities of USSR, even today the majority of offered connections are the former countries of the Soviet Union and large cities in Russia. Many planes fly from here to Eastern Europe and Asia. There are few flights to Western Europe and Africa. The planes of 28 airlines depart from this airport. It serves around 100 000 flights a year, providing service to more than seven million passengers. It specializes in serving VIPs and members of the government. The airport has two passenger terminals: Vnukovo-V (international) and Vnukovo-D (domestic), as well as one terminal used only by charter flights. The nearest hotel is located in the distance of 10 kilometers from the airport.

By metro
You can reach the Yugo-Zapadnaya station by taking the metro (red line). The ride takes about 25 minutes. Near the station, there is a bus stop with buses going directly to the airport.
By bus
If you travelled by metro, you should find bus stop of the 611 and 611C lines next to Yugo-Zapadnaya station. Get off at the Airport Vnukovo stop. The ticket costs 15-25 rubles. There is also a bus connecting Moscow city centre with the airport.
By train
Take the train to Kiyevsky railway terminal (also known as Moscow Kiyevskaya railway station), and the change to express train to the airport. The ticket costs 200 rubles, and the ride takes 35 minutes.
The safest would be to use the airport taxis, so you do not risk being cheated. You can order them at the information points located in the terminals; they can also be found in front of the terminals. Taxis are available 24/7.

55°36'19"N, 37°17'13"EThe airport is located in the suburbs of Moscow, about 28 kilometres south-west of the city centre. You can reach the airport by three dual carriageways: Kievskoe, Minskoe, and Borovskoe. The most popular and the most convenient is the first one.
There are many two-storey car parks within walking distance from the airport, each with 350 parking spaces. There are also 250 parking spaces available in the open car park. You don’t pay for the first 15 minutes of stay, but then the price depends on the time of parking. You can also leave your car in a guarded long-term parking lot.
Information – information points are located on the first level of both terminals. You can order a taxi here or – in some - buy a ticket for a train or other mean of transport.
Finance - currency exchange, ATMs and post offices are located on the first floor in both terminals.
Restaurants – restaurants and cafés are located on the second floor of international terminal (Terminal V).
Shopping – duty-free shops and pharmacy are located on the second floor of international terminal (Terminal V).
Disabled passengers – the airport is accessible to disabled passengers (toilets, elevators). Disabled passengers may also ask for the assistance of dedicated airport staff.
Health – at the airport, there is a medical clinic offering medical and dental services.
Internet – there are cards giving you access to WI-Fi Internet, you can buy them in the dedicated service points on the first floor.
